South Bristol Girls Rugby Team!

We are a passionate and dedicated
group of athletes promoting girls’ involvement in rugby.

Located in South Bristol, our team coaches girls in the under 12s, 14s and 16s age categories.

The formation of South Bristol Girls came about due to the limited opportunities for girls to play rugby after reaching secondary school age.

RFU rules prohibited them from playing with boys’ teams.

Now, these girls have a place to continue their progress and flourish into confident young women.
